191!!! Woo hoo!!!

Need I say more?!?  :-)

edit:  might need to say just a little bit more since I seem to keep forgetting to update exactly what it is I'm doing - still doing TED, only gave up on it for a day before I realized that nothing is working better.

192!!!
Yay!  Had to drop that idea of trying to adjust my diet according to headaches - that just triggered disaster.  Drastic changes just aren't typically a good thing.  :p  Maybe slower, easier changes would be better.  Don't know - mild headache today - Ibuprofen did fix it for now.

193 and all's well, except...
I'm getting killer migraine's again.  Not sure if it's The Enzyme Diet or just what I'd been eating along with TED, but I'm going to take a break from it for a bit and deal with the headaches before I continue on again.  Guess I can't eat that much food at the fair and not pay the price.

Up a pound, but not discouraged, yet.

I actually got more TED, yesterday, along with two different shaker cups and some TED fact sheets and I see those who lost the most weight actually had three shakes a day for four days, then settled down to two.  Interesting thought, though with the amount of time I'm at the fair, I'm really not sure that's going to work out.  Perhaps after the fair, I can try that for a bit.

BTW, the new style shaker cup I got - it's awesome - like a Tupperware shaker cup but it has an ice pack insert and an extra cup for powder (or snack) ;-).

Two full days at the fair...
Surrounded by elephant ears and candy floss - lol, neither of which I've yet eaten, this week!  I actually went up another pound, October 3, but then, down one pound the fourth and one more the fifth!  :-)  Yay, now if I can keep that up, I'm good!  :-D

Awww, back up that pound, but ...

yesterday was a day at the Caledonia Fair, too, so I'm still full of hope.  Plus supper at Grandma's and I'd only had my one shake - I had the second with a very small supper - have to have some of the soup that she'd made - and she bought Kremes (dessert) - can't pass that up!

Now, Norfolk County Fair, all week, this coming week - I'd better be prepared to fight fire with fire or I'll really be in trouble!  Plus, there's the possiblity of Thanksgiving dinner, too...  maybe if this week I can keep from gaining weight!  Maybe that should be my goal?!  Will try to keep updating, for sure - hold myself accountable, if nothing else!

Down a pound, already?!

That's just not right.  I actually thought, if anything, I might end up gaining weight, yesterday.  I'm glad I didn't - down a pound is just freakish, but good enough to keep me encouraged.  :-)

I need to explain a little better.  Yesterday, I started on The Enzyme Diet.  I'm still stuck around 192 - 194 and can't seem to go any lower.  Part of doing a lot of raw fruits and vegetables is the enzymes, but I can't seem to handle all the sugar naturally found in the raw foods, especially fruit.  This looked like a great idea.  Even more amazing is when I looked at the ingredients, I couldn't believe what all is in these shakes - papaya and mushrooms never tasted so good in a chocolate shake!  lol  There's actually a very long list of ingredients "100% natural" and it's actually called "The Enzyme Diet Superfood."

I had my two shakes, yesterday, plus way more than one meal.  I had the first shake around 6 am, so by 9am, I was ready for number two - that leaves a lot of day left for only one meal.  Guess I should consider snacks, too!  ;-)

Today, supper at Grandma's, so I need to do my shakes before then.  Sarah and I are at the Caledonia Fair, today - hmmm, will go as far as I can on my shakes and will see what Fair food is available and how good it looks.  A full week of the fair, next week, so I can and will have to pace myself!

going no-where fast, or so it seems

Well, it's been a while since I've posted or had anything worth posting, so it seems.  I've been floating around the 192-194 pound mark, for most of this time.  To my great surprise, fitday.com still has me within the needing to lose 1.something pound per week report, which is also wonderfully encouraging - I'm not somewhere in need of losing 10 lbs per week to stick to my original goal!  yay!  Have no idea how I've managed that, as I really don't feel that I've lost much and it seems so much time has passed.

I've pretty much had to give up the idea of eating raw food - I'd been getting headaches.  The Jerusalem Diet doesn't require raw foods, but sometimes, raw fruits and veggies are the easiest to eat.

Lately, I've been trying to eat more soy - or drink in my case, I've bought some flax and soy cereal, but have consumed far more chocolate soy milk than any other soy product.  It is a little hard on the digestive system, so I have actually been balancing it out with (yes, raw) fruits and veggies, plus some fruit juice.  Actually, I haven't been too bad for headaches while doing that!  hmmm, surprise!  :-)  Also, I've been mostly buying So Good, with added flax oil - all the extra nutrients just have to be bonus!

"I'm ready... promotion... I'm ready... "

oh! no, not really, though I write my coding exam in maybe two more weeks - and that will hopefully mean new job, new pay!  :-)

lol, and just that excited to be back on track!  190!!! and it's such a nice round number, too - like a mini goal!  :-D

More C?...
It's hard to eat so much Kashi on a weekend, it seems.  Now, the weekend is over, we'll see how it goes - also going to try to eat as much vitamin C as I can - I have some apple sauce, some cranberry juice, canned pineapple and various frozen veggies - going to start with that!  I'll try for some sorce of C at each meal, plus the cereal.  :-)
